Atul is an experienced property developer with a strong background in engineering, manufacturing and project management. An Engineering graduate from IIT Roorkee, India, he spent approximately 20 years as a metallurgist and manufacturing professional, including experience with organisations such as Tata Motors and Sterlite Industries.
After developing a long-standing passion for real estate and property development, Atul began retraining and building practical experience in the industry. He started with land subdivisions and duplex construction, gaining hands-on experience across site assessment, feasibility, planning, approvals, construction, finance and project management.
Over the years, Atul has progressed into larger and more complex development opportunities. Today, he is a full-time property developer working across a range of projects, including land subdivisions, childcare centres and medical centre developments.
His engineering background plays an important role in his approach to property. Atul brings an analytical and practical mindset to assessing opportunities, understanding development constraints, managing risk and identifying strategies that can unlock and create value.
At Auswide, Atul brings specialist development expertise to support the identification and assessment of development sites, strategic acquisitions and value-add property opportunities. He works collaboratively with planners, architects, surveyors, engineers, builders, finance professionals and other specialists throughout the development process.
Outside of property, Atul is family-oriented and passionate about continuous learning and personal development. He enjoys reading and has a strong interest in music, including playing the guitar and flute.
